3D Spotlight Nintendo Announces Partnership With Nexon Dec 31, 2006 - 11:03 AM At a recently held press conference, Nintendo officially announced that they are teaming up with the Korean game company, Nexon. This means that newer titles will be added to the Wii's watch list. Not only that, but a Wii release date for Korea is planned for late 2007, along with a DS Lite release date on January 18. Here's what President Satoru Iwata said: We plan to actively support Korean game software developers who have great expertise in developing online games and support their advances into foreign markets, Nintendo has started a game development partnership with NEXON, creator of the online racing game Crazyracing Kartrider and Korean publisher of the popular MMORPG Maple Story.
